Pantex Fire Protection Engineer in Amarillo, TX
MUST BE A U. S. CITIZEN TO APPLY
A Fire Protection Engineer is needed to support completion of fiber network and flame designs along with capability to meet the requirements and abilities listed below. It is preferred that the candidates have an L or Q Clearance.
Subcontractor personnel shall have demonstrated knowledge and experience in industry consensus standards (NFPA, etc.), modeling building codes, and DOE Orders.
Subcontractor personnel shall have demonstrated knowledge and experience in design and analysis of fire detection and alarm systems.
Subcontractor personnel shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of fire protection engineering experience. DOE experience is preferred. Experience at Pantex Plant and/or Y-12 National Security complex also preferred.
Subcontractor personnel shall have the ability to communicate clearly, perform written reports, and the ability to perform facility walk downs.
